Storyline for Obsession - Film
Felix is caught looking through binoculars out the window of his apartment by Cassy. he drops them and in worry hides in his room, The binoculars are found by Cassy and she gives them to the landlord which he then gives back to Felix. The Landlord begins to get more annoyed at the fact that Felix has no job and gives him a final threat to get the money by the end of the month.
Felix gets his stuff gathered together and tries to get a job. There is no luck, though on the way back to his apartment he manages to see someone he recognizes from standing next to Cassy in a photo. His name is Stephen oster. Felix asks him if he knew how he could get to the town center, (which he already knew, and where Stephen was already walking), He tells Felix and then they both walk together. In conversation he gives Felix a job Offer. Felix thanks him in gratitude then walks away leaving Stephen puzzled to why he walked away from the town center.
Felix is given the Job as a janitor for an advertising company and he gradually after weeks of torment from them, makes friends with the group of janitors. Alexi gibbons, Max tana and Oliver reddy are the other janitors. As the friendship builds up for them, Felix is almost forgetting how he even felt for Cassy.
Around half a year into the job, Felix has a change to how he approaches people. No longer shy or anti-social. Felix even whistle's to the female public. One evening Felix and Alexi are mopping the floor listening to music. Max is gradually becoming annoyed at the volume of the music. In slight spite Max walks over to the sterio and switches the off button. Before we even see the response a door is slammed shut, from accross the corridor. Cassy appears walking down with a handfull of books. A face of fear from Felix is seen, whilst Max and Alexi both grin looking at one another. Cassy walks past all the janitors then suddenly Max whistles, Cassy looks back and winks.
After this incident Felix throws himself upon Max and repeatidly punches his face. Alexi then kicks him off eventially, Felix then escapes from the building. The next few weeks we will see Felix turning slightly mad. Felix vandalises his room with red paint over all the pictures of Cassy. He also tries to burn down his Landlords room. Felix has to escape with few belongings of his own out of the apartment.
A few weeks on we see that Felix is now homeless, though has met a girl named Flora. Felix meets Flora by a pine tree along the river. Eventially Felix begins to get closer to Flora. The times we see them both, they appear to always be sat next to each other on either side of the tree, smiling and laughing. Felix is now looking for another job, since he has no money. As he begins to think of how he lost his last job he looks up Cassy's name in a computer and decides to place a job aplication there. As he writes this blatently infront of Flora's eyes, she remembers the name. Felix gets the job. He is now constantly working and as we will see is begining to become more obssesed.A few weeks later Flora finds an old picture of Cassy with her name under the photo and realises that Felix has left her for Cassy. Flora decides to try and burn down Cassy's house. Unfortunately Felix (at the time) is on her roof spying on Cassy. As the house is set on fire, the last we see of Felix is him falling into the flames of the house. Flora escapes into the distance and waits by the pine tree for Felix.
