In our lesson over semiotics, media Languages, codes and conventions with Mr Wroe we watched Graffters (a British T.V drama). We saw that the difference in camera shots have a greater effect of tension and excitement for the audience. Rather than having one shot of a camera it provides variety and gives the audience a chance to see the characters point of view. Some of these camera shots include two shots, zoom-close ups and tracking shots. I think the panning shot and point of view (POV) worked well when one of the characters had to be cleaning the dishes and it was focusing on the dishes from the characters eyes only moving the camera angle from where he was standing.
For homework i am going to find another British T.V drama and consider these shots and devices and post them on my blog for more awareness of this subject
